Proverbs 19:3

A boy from Texico is pumping those tanks till full
He meets a girl while buying Super Gulp pop
They wanna marry each other
Have a dozen kids or so and
Folks say "can't do that, you'll ruin your lives.

Back from the honeymoon,
Their key won't work no more
And bills are falling out of their
Overstuffed box
The landlord's red and he's angry
Time to peal on out 'a there
They here him screaming
"Gonna ruin your lives!!!"

Living at Daddies house
The place is a mess
The newborn wants to be nursed
The toddler pooped on the rug
Then in comes bread-winning hubby
"I just quit my job today"
"God Almighty, we've got ruined lives!"

They're at the church social eating tonnes of free food
The pastor smiles as he welcomes them
They tell him their woes
He says "The Lord will provide, and all hope is in Him . . . .
But remember Proverbs 19:3, a ruined life is from man's own folly."

I like the story line. It's kind of humorous and tragic all in one. It reminds me of when I was very young with children, but now I can look back and laugh at myself now that everything ended up to be okay.
