sun blistered disclosures
Beneath a safelight's glow
Baptized in caustic solutions
hung to dry
clouded lenses
revealing tainted contrasts
Poor focus
frames off center
true forms silhouetted
Locusts in background
devouring fields of vision
cropped in closely
only main subjects are of concern
Developing from out of negatives
processing into a new perspective
centering on...

| Kinda' like bi-polarism or schizophrenia or any of a host of mental illnesses exhibiting such symptoms/qualities. Look through a reflection/transparency of one's self in a window sometime and realize how you can see outside clearly yet be aware of your own reflection looking back at you simultaneously it's pretty amazing really. Looking out and in at once, but requires a step back to take it all in! It's a lot more difficult to see what's looming/impending right before our eyes or "hiding in plain sight". |

| Another powerful one. We used to develop film in our bathroom back when we were young. There was such a thrill doing the prints and watching the picture appear...now I do that with the computer. This one really was special to me. |
