Revival

Everyone wants to change the world until they realize change is a verb
We've been called "the Lord's generation"
But these are merely words
Entitlement entitles us to think we're born for revival
But our spirits yearn to act while our hands remain idle
Revival isn't entitled to a particular title or generation
But it's more like the Holy Spirit's wedding invitation

He wants to be with us
He wants to draw so close
But we don't usher in revival
And stand around to boast
"I AM THE LORDS GENERATION!"
And to you I propose a toast

You do have a way with words but they don't come from the heart
They come from a church who's building up without recognizing we need fall apart

You have a lot of zeal...and unbridled passion, but to presume to know what is in someone's heart is akin to knowing God's purpose and plan.
Only God knows what is in our hearts, He showed me things i didn't know were there nor could have ever perceived on my own.

Thank you brother, sorry for the unconcise message in the quote, what I'm trying to purvey is that there are churches in my generation that build up with a Tower of Babel attitude, and never want to be broken before The Lord, to grow closer to Him, and the first part I kind of get from the verse that says love The Lord your God will all your heart soul and mind, which in original context of hebrew means with action, I see people who want revival then take no action, it was meant to convict those who want the revival so bad but love a normal life, hope that clears it up a bit, thank you!

Oh Brother i get you all the way trust in that and i believe that you are very talented and gifted, look for great things from you through Him absolutely without a single doubt!!
The point i was trying to make was Heart's change, He can reach and use anyone at anytime...it's amazing!!
