Womb with a View

Did you ever wonder
What did we do
That made me become me
And you become you...
When we were tiny little cells
And we began to progress
Who knew how we would be
When once we left our nest.
I'm so glad that I was left to grow
Inside my Mom so dear
And thankful that she didn't think
My life would interfere
With anything she might want to do
Or any place that she might go
But was content to let her womb
Be the place for me to grow
