Where did it go? It just got here. Did I accomplish my goals, my hopes, my dreams? Did I help others like I wanted to, should have? What mark did I leave to look back upon? I'm embarrassed!!! For my failures, slothfullness. Failure because I did not follow through, Keeping up whith what is really important, Family, friends, those in need that I could have helped. To change a life, for His Glory. Thank you Lord for another day, The prospect of another year To make a difference. Help me To be More like You!

Miss Thena, I believe that all truely determined christians ask that, but trust this word from this old preacher's perspective, that you are doing a wonderful work for the Lord and touch many lives. You, Miss Lora, and that other truckdriver, have been such a blessing this past year. Thank you from the depths of my heart. Blessings

| Carl We all can look back and reflect on the "should have" for a short while. Paul said, "This one thing I do, ' forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus ... our citizenship is in heaven for which we eagerly wait for a Savior ... who will transform the body our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory". We all must "set our minds on things above", stand firm, we can do "all things through Christ" as he "orders our steps" We have One audience.

Happy New Year, Dale. I truly enjoyed reading your poem. It reflects what I believe any person, truly in love with Christ, would ask. I use the yearly measuring stick of comparing myself at "this point in time" to a year ago and ask the same questions. I believe we all feel (and know) we could have done a better job for Christ, but isn't He so gracious and merciful to love us anyway and continue to work in and through us in spite of us? Thank you.

Awe, thank you Carl. You, and all of our CCW members, have been a tremendous blessing as well. However, I never thought of myself as a blessing to anyone. It's funny, I think we often miscalculate, and are often unaware of, how much the Lord really uses us to touch others. One day, He will reveal all, and what a glorious day that will be! May the Lord continue to use the precious members of this site and their writing talents to reap a bountiful harvest for the Lord, to lift others up when they need it, to instruct the flock in the way they should go, and to encourage other Christian writers.
