| Ever contained in royal containment,
Held divinely by a father’s heart,
Pre-conception, pre-creation; a love like a wall,
Unbreakable, never to be torn down.
Fingers interlocked, a mind instilled,
Determined never to let go.
Blood pumping fiercely in life held concern.
Determined never to let go.
His only treasure- precious and perfect,
Still tiny, slippery- fresh borne of time.
Carved in evanescence, from immortality.
A jewel for which He would soon trade His life. |
