| Hello...(hello)...(hello)... Can anybody hear me...(hear me)...(hear me)... Won't you come unlock this jacket...(jacket)...(jacket)... There's no reason to fear me...(fear me)...(fear me)...
Come closer to the windows, take a peek inside and if you look deep enough you'll see the pain I try and hide I'm locked up in this mask hoping I might forget my face because the memory of who I was I can't seem to erase I wear a volatile smile behind shiny duct-tape I swallowed the keys to the shackles hoping I never escape I curl in the corner as the darkness falls and bang my head again within these padded walls Sedated, medicated, implicated in a crime Detrimental mental health has me doing hard time You see, my mind tells me I'm mad with a recurring condition and so I stay locked away because I'm under suspicion for not conforming to societal ways Once we rain the pain we are the castaways A schoolboy's giggle rings hollow in my ears as the fears from the years of the tears bring the cheers and build me up to the sadly-ever-after I can't have manslaughter without man's laughter "I see a red door and I want it painted black..." and so I pray for the day that my heart comes back
