Stately stance carefully orchestrated
Calculated glare, chin thrusted forward
Is this me, or am I over rated?
My thoughts, my ways
Do I not have the right of self indulgence?
Who have I hurt, what do I care?
It's my life and I don't want to share.
I did this on my own and I will
chew
destroy
annihilate
whatever it takes
to come out on top.
Lord, I want to sit by your side.
See how hard I worked
To get to where I am?
Was this not a noble effort
herculean
gargantuan
I am everything I expected
Me to be
Can't you see
That it's me
Did I really change?
Somewhere?
Somehow?
Oh, wretch that I am!

i like to think everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt...but then again, no one deserves to be subjected to obvious doubt which benefits no one.
