Missing My Mom

Mom, I miss you so very much
And have missed you every day
From the very moment
That God called you away.
But I would not call you back to earth
In the world we live in today
For I know you are where all is love
And that's where you will stay.
I miss being able to chat with you
And giggle and laugh and sing
I miss your warmth, you love, your smile-
I miss your everything!
I don't know if Heaven has a balcony
Allowing you to look down on me
If there is then you know I'm so much like you-
The way you used to be.
I do the things you taught me to do
And follow God's Word-His instructions to me
And trust that when next we meet
It will be for all eternity!
