from the one of undying love
I was so alone and very lost
deep in despair with no hope
then I heard of someone above
One with unceasing love
I called upon Him crying
Lord Help Me, I need You
He opened His hands showing
His nail scarred hands and feet
The stripes on his back, the cost.
Now I raise my hands in a joyful praise
Come, join me you will be amazed
the sacrifice he has freely given
Dying upon that cross for we the living
our sins were forgiven on that day
Come, join Him now He will show the way
To a peaceful life eternally
