Revival (edit 2)

Everyone wants to change the world until they realize change is a verb
We've been called "the Lord's generation"
But these words are just a declaration of a nation with too much patience and not enough action
like subtracting carrying your cross from Christ's Death, Burial, and resurrection transaction
Entitlement entitles us to think we're born for revival
our spirit yearns to act while our hands remain idle
Revival isn't entitled to a particular title or generation
But it's more like the Holy Spirit's wedding invitation

He wants to be with us
He wants to draw so close
But we don't usher in revival
And stand around to boast
"I AM THE LORDS GENERATION!"

You see We've been building up our defenses instead of getting in the trenches!
we sit in our pews and listen like there's something missing but through Christ's Great Commission we have a mission to go forth and witness so that the deaf would hear and the blind receive their vision

You do have a way with words but
They come from a church who's building itself up without first recognizing we need fall apart
Break our hearts for you Father!
break our hearts!

I want revival
I want great awakening part 3!
So Jesus I'm sending back your invitation with an RSVP!
I'm ready Holy Spirit usher in revival through me!

Excellent heart here for the upheaval of revival. Start it across the back fence. Expect to see it in your travels as you go down to Jericho (Luke 10).

Do not expect it from many of the assemblies. They are strangled by multiplied programs, weary professional staff and mutual admiration. Consumers, not labourers or bleeders.
