RESTLESS MIND

To sleep but not to dream
Only to rest my weary mind
For my body needs the break
That only sleep can find.

To be so very weary
That I cannot even sleep
Makes me think I’ve lost my soul
And all I want to do is weep.

To sleep, to sleep, to sleep
Perhaps to dream of pleasant things
That only with the peaceful rest
That God’s angels bring.

Perhaps it’s in God’s plan
That I be this way
In this world of worlds
He will have His say.

He will help me rest
When the time is right
He will let me sleep
Right through the night.

My world is tiny
Compared to God’s vast domain
If I was him
I’m sure I’d go insane

So to rest a little
Just enough to serve once more
That’s all I ask right now
To be better than before.

My world is like a drop of water
Compared to God’s ocean full of love
I hope I’m doing something good
When he looks down from above.

I don’t feel so tired
When God is in my heart
Somehow I just know
We will never be apart.

Lord, bless our Miss Jan
And bring her sweet gentle rest
Let her feel Your presence
And know that she is blessed.
Let her feel the prayers
Of those who love her
and let her always hear Your voice
And give in to sweet gentle slumber
As her mind and spirit rejoice.

Aw Miss Thena, you are so wonderful. If I didn't have this place I don't know what I would do without you all. Thanks for the prayer, I need all I can get. Love you.
