The bug bit when I was 11. I'm 62 now so it has been a long journey so far. In 1988, Saturday Evening Post sent me a check - wow! I thought I was on track to make the big time but God had other plans. I've written fourteen novels, four were contracted and only one by a "for-real" publisher. Currently I have several on Amazon through Createspace. The greatest difficulty and most frustrating aspect of the writing life is securing an agent. Even as I write this, I am reluctant to contact another agent for any project I have in process. So, for me, I will write and publish on my own without any hope of recouping my expenses. Sour grapes - no just the reality of the publishing life.
I am a full-time pastor with a Doctorate in Theology. Happlily married for 41 years with two kids and three grands. Say hello if you are in NC.
