Trained to entice, ordered to lure
Promising pleasure, fantasy’s fulfillment
Dancing to dare you
Hoping to share you
 
Stolen secretly away
Cloudy covering
Tunnel walls torn, scarred
Cracked mirror

Liar now laughing, mocking
Hysterically spinning
Spiraling down, down, down
Chains of shame, secrecy, pride
Arms stretched out for captivity
 
Secret open
Hearts are broken
True love stolen
Trust is lost

Savior bleeding, groaning, dying

There is a fine line between observance and hyper-vigilance, you went right to the very threshold with this piece without lunging over...well done. Great example of exercising restraint in judgment and seeing two sides to issues, just like the duality in every Christian's life the "old self" in constant conflict with the "new".
