Childhood Moments Matter

Every moment matters
Every second counts
Every bit of love is a treasure
From the tiniest amount.
Every smile should be cherished
Every tear should be wiped off the cheek
Of each precious little angel
And its a joy to hear them speak.
Too soon they will be older
And off doing things on their own
Too quickly they will be adults-
No longer teens, but grown.
It's up to us to teach them now
While they are in our laps
To train them as we hold them close
For comforting and naps.
