If all the Tears

If all the tears that Heaven holds
Were sent down to earth as rain
Would the sun ever shine again
Since the world holds so much pain?
If every cry that Jesus hears
Were to reach our earthly ears
Would we see how much He cares
And would it ease our fears?
If we read every promise in God's Word
And obeyed each loving command
Would our country ever have to fear
That it could no longer stand?
If all the love that God feels for us
Were gathered in a huge earthly bowl
Nothing built could contain the love
And it would overflow...
If all the power God gives to His own
Were known and used each day
And if they spent hours on their knees
Taking time to talk to God and pray
So many more would know the truth
And more souls would come His way.
More people would be happy
And do tasks God meant for them to do
More folks would be obedient
And let God's love shine through.
More people would seek to do what's right
And cease from doing wrong
More people would join the Heavenly choir
Singing eternity's sweet song!
