There is No Place...

There is no place where I might be
That God has not gone ahead of me
No night so dark
That God can't see
No fear that might inhibit me
Is unknown to my Lord, my Savior, my friend
No storm, no rain, no howling wind
No thoughts that seek my mind to bend
Can keep Him from this child being near
To calm my spirit, wipe away my tear
Though I might perish in this earthly place
My goal is to glance upon His face
For only He can appoint the time for me
To join Him for eternity!
