Love Immeasurable!
A strange thing happened to
Christ. Prior to this event,
whenever he talks to God, he'd
address him as "Father".
But this time, on the cross, he
addressed him as "God"!
"My God! My God! Why have you
forsaken me?" Mark 15:34
And truly, God forsook him!
God, the Father, couldn't behold
such a weight of sin carried by
Jesus, for he is holy.
Yet, Jesus was willing to "watch"
God turn his face away from him
so God could turn it to you!
If all that anger burned while
God tried looking at him but
couldn't, then "all the love" will
keep burning while God keep
looking at you!
Read Song of Songs 2:4b
(Message Bible).
At the cross Jesus cried out for
being forsaken, so that "after the
cross" you can hear God say
"Never will I leave you, never will
I forsake you!" Hebrews 13:5b.
"Father" had to be taken from
him at that time so that you can
never do without calling, "Abba,
Father"!
Never forget all the things Jesus
did without so that you can
never do without them! Neither
should you forget those he
possessed so that it could be
multiplied in you!
Was he poor?
Yes, so you won't be.
Was he sick?
Yes, so you don't have to be.
Was he forsaken?
Yes, so you won't be.
Was he joyful?
Yes, so that it will be multiplied in
you!
Was he great?
Yes, so that you can do greater
things!
Is he God's heir?
Yes, and you are co-heir with
him!
What manner of love
immeasurable!
Oh! Father! Thank you for the gift
of your son!
What To Note:
Never forget all the things Jesus
did without so that you can
never do without them! Neither
should you forget those he
possessed so that it could be
multiplied in you!
