Common Knowledge...

...but is it really?
Then why do we still hide in caves of our own making?
Why so afraid to "Worshipfreely?"
Giving into settling for wiggle room to squirm in, while the world continues unabashed in devouring and consuming.
If one cannot stand up for their faith without aped, mimicked, parroted, half-hearted taunting approval...then perhaps it's time to stop following after "isms"
In Christ Jesus, there are no "isms", no refracted light through prisms, no veiled euphemisms, shouldn't be so many stigmatizing schisms among Brethren.
Turn stilin' for another go-round, the same broken record about to break it's own record.
Will it haunt? convict? astound? re-found? embrace? about-face?
Maybe not, perhaps it just sounds tired old and repetitious...
But it won't anymore, the day religion let's you down for the final time.
One day, come to find out, been holding a bag of worthless rocks and not standing on "The Rock."
Then and only then, will it come to mind...every single tired old rhyme.
Proverbs, psalms, teachings old and new...sublime.
And religion has not a single thing to do...with any of it!
Divide and conquer, are amongst the most proven and effective tactics by any adversary since time immemorial.
And if we are so smart, so studious in the "Word" and so intelligent, then can someone please tell me why so many of us are still falling for it?
I'm talking about the obvious blatant bull... some of us follow after. even though the Holy Spirit in us is giving us a piercing cry to get "the hell out?!"
We stick it out and think, well no one's perfect.
True...but some teachers and teachings are not only humanly imperfect like all of us but scripturally incorrect!
Someone...anyone...raise your hand stand up and speak...?!
Doug, Ola, Lora, Thena, Moni, Faithcord, Joe T., Carl, Rhyma, Jak, Cpsp, Rev. Mike, Newer members, older members...isn't it obvious that either i get "it" too much, or maybe not at all?
Enlighten us all someone, can you?
i defer to a wiser, calmer voice...where are you?
 
Jesus has all the answers.
But in asking of "religion", we will never know the Truth PERIOD!

All I know is Jesus is the answer!

When life falls apart there is no "religion" that can help me keep from going under.
When the Word of God speaks to my heart I have been given just what I need to make it through anything that life or the enemy throws my way. In thankfulness I raise my hands and bow my heart and sing out loud to the only One who can save my soul! Whether in a building with others or alone in my car, worship is due the worthy One.
I was made for His pleasure....how utterly awesome is that! Nothing compares to the "relationship" I have with Jesus!
Married and blessed 31 years just yesterday! Without God at the center of this earthly relationship it would not work. Life can be hard.....but God is always good. He has proven Himself to me over and over and I know that my God will never leave me or forsake me! I am blessed with family and friends but when I leave this earth, the only One that can raise me from the grave, and died so that I could spend eternity with Him is Jesus. He actually bends down low to hear me pray. Almighty God wants to listen to me and loves...me!
To know and recognize the lie, we have to know the truth! Read the Word.
