| Rain, rain...come again Flow off of my head, down my chest...from my fingers to my pen Can I get an amen the rain washes my tears The lightning and the thunder bring out wonderful fears It used to be the fear in me made me run inside and hide but now every day's a funeral, for to myself I died A funeral with no rain just isn't the same and inside every raindrop I can see my name I see places that I've been...places yet to go I see people I haven't met and I see friends I used to know Where does the pain go when I'm running in the rain Who cares, I'm glad it's gone...and only I remain Just me and the rain sent from Heaven above The water of life...God's holy love... |
