If One Day

If when you awake one day
You find that I have been called away.
Do not fret or morn for me
And do not blame eternity!
Just smile when you think of me
And enjoy each pleasant memory
Of times long past and present fun
For my life has just begun.
When in God's presence I shall stand
I pray He takes me by my hand
And says "Welcome home my little one
Thank you for a job well done!"

It's funny how we mourn so for our loved ones even when we know they are in the arms of Jesus. What a beautiful little poem. I love this one.
