Crystal Garden
This poem is for those that think taking own life is the answer
Whether it’s because tired of dealing with life's bullies or something
Hiding deep in secret, the shame you feel, it’s not you
There’s a crystal inside us all, waiting for the right light to shine
With the right amount of rain coming from the storms we find
The Son is shining His love making us His perfect rainbow
The pain inside is hard to bare, I know, but keep holding on
There is purpose for all we go through even though we don’t
Understand, Jesus chose us to carry out His plan
There’s a garden growing inside us all, waiting to be planted
With the right seeds in time, when the water of life flows through
The most beautiful flowers will grow producing a sweet perfume
Going down with the ship would be easier if we’re the Captain of this boat
But we’re no Captain just mere servants waiting out the storm He took us in
The boat may be sinking but He wants us to get out and follow Him on the water
There’s a well inside us all and inside this well is a crystal with a garden
Inside this garden Jesus will come if we let Him, and inside He kneels
Praying to the Father on our behalf to let our rainbow show His treasure of love
Rebuke the shame within, no more living in doubt that we’re not worth living
When we’re worth everything that Heaven is waiting for, yes Heaven is waiting
Jesus will come for us when it’s our time, until then live life to the fullest for Him
There’s a crystal inside of a garden planted with water from the well in our soul
This one of many gardens through out Heaven, thanks to the lives we touched
This is where we’ll finally understand and meet the reasons why we lived
