ONCE UPON A TIME

Once upon a time my soul was free from sin
But I was just a child way back then.
Once upon a time my Jesus walked this earth,
But they killed him not knowing of his worth.
Once upon a time the earth was free of sin,
Then came the devil just a waltzing right on in.
Once upon a time the Lord was mad at men
So he had Noah build the ark to save us from our sin.
Once upon a time the Lord took a lump of clay
Formed it into man that’s how we are here today.
Once upon a time the world was dark and empty
Until the Lord said let there be light and there was plenty.
Once upon a time is time gone by
Now is the time to be saved or die.
So ask the Lord to save you from your sin
Believing Jesus died and arose again
Ask in Jesus name I pray
And you will have a place in Heaven for eternity to stay.
Amen.

I love the way you used "Once upon a time" in this narrative poem. It really brings across the point, is a very creative use of words, and rolls of the tongue nicely as you read it. My favorite lines:
