Missing
Somebody’s always missing someone, somewhere
Could be someone we know or a complete stranger
If it’s not them missing maybe it’s you or me
Face on the milk carton, does anybody recognize?
What about the poster on every telephone poll twice?
Why does it take forty-eight hours to file missing person?
Blessed assurance the Missing will be found by the Angels
Sent out by the Lord of hosts preparing a feast of celebration
For the return of His children that He has been looking for
Somebody is either kidnapped, lost or running away from something
Or someone that’s sinned or is sinning the darkness doesn’t care which
The prince of darkness devours those without faith then spits them out
Prayer will send a light beacon into the sea of darkness like a lighthouse
Those seeing the light will find a new hope that will draw them closer to shore
There they will be found with His hand reaching out, rest is up to them
Blessed assurance the Missing have been found by the Angels
The Lord of hosts is calling them home by name He says: It’s okay
By His bloody we have been saved the ransom to the darkness is paid
Somebody’s looking for you, looking for me to be found again
Don’t you think it’s time to go home? I know I am done hiding
Been missing for way to long dear Lord come find me now
Blessed assurance we’re found no longer Missing by Heaven’s angels
The Father awaits with open arms for us to run into as praises begin
Hallelujah His children are finally home where they belong
