Expect God

Those that say God is a mystery must be couch potatoes
Watching the world go by, as they remain oblivious to happenings
That no one expects God to do except by those that know Him

Our ways are not His ways, our thoughts not His thoughts
But one thing we should know, God will move like the wind
Might not notice until trees start shaking, but God will move

Miracles are coming just be patient, keep praying Jesus is at work
I know it’s hard to wait when seeing loved ones suffering in great pain
But as it’s written the promise of His stripes healing still holds true

God’s not the mystery, even though we don’t know His thoughts or ways
The only mystery I see is how we get out of bed without falling on our faces
Only by the grace of God do we get to see another morning

Expect God to move He will do the impossible, always at work in us
We just only see when mountains move, and seas become calm again
If we want to see more have to expect God to move

God is love, God is great, God will forgive when we confess and God moves
He moved when coming down to die on the cross through His Son Jesus Christ
Then He moved the stone so He could prepare our return to paradise

If we can’t see God moving look down at our own two feet see if they’re moving
Then we will see God moving either by our own walk or by His carrying us on His
When we expect God to move the mystery will be gone, and only faith will remain
