What My Mirror Does Not See

I know you think you see me
When you look at me
But are you able to see
What my mirror does not see....

Do you see that I was created
By the Master's own loving hand?
Do you see that tho I'm shaky sometimes
He always helps me to stand?

Do you see the heartache
And hurt that I've gone through
But still I keep on loving
And trusting and praying for you?

Do you see that my heart is filled with love
For my friends and family too?
Or is the image in my mirror
How I look to you?

Do you look beneath the surface
And see me as I really am inside?
Do you see the pain I've suffered
And all the tears I've cried?

Do you see that I could just as easily be you
We are not that different you and I
We were both created by our Father
And will join Him bye and bye.

I know you think you see me
When you look at me
But the image in my mirror
Isn't really me.

I am a work of my Father
I am designed by God above
I am His Creation, his work in progress
And I'm surrounded by His love.

His angels watch over me
And He has prepared for me
A mansion worthy of the heir
That He has made of me!

I see you through your words, the voice of your heart. Don't need a profile picture for that.
My future mother-in-law also gets the shakes, takes medication for it. I told her well it helps to stir the sugar in your morning coffee...she laughed.
