Accepted In The Beloved Empty
PostSubject: Accepted In The Beloved   Accepted In The Beloved EmptySat Aug 02, 2014 1:12 pm

Have you ever felt rejected, or unworthy? A cherished friendship breaks apart, you are fired form a job unexpectedly, your teenage child pushes you away, or the marriage you thought would last forever suddenly ends in divorce. Any of these events can leave you feeling rejected. Worst of all, is when you know for sure that you did something to deserve it.
All of us deserve to be rejected by God. We are sinful, we rebel, and we offend His Righteousness by our very nature.....seems pretty grim, doesn't it? Well, praise be to God that He had mercy on us when we didn't deserve it at all! Because He was willing to send Jesus, His only begotten Son, to die in our place and take the penalty for our sins, we can now be completely, and 100% forgiven for everything we have ever done or will do wrong. That's what Grace is. It is absolute favor that is given to someone who absolutely DOES NOT deserve it!
Even more wonderful is the fact that when we are saved, by believing in Jesus, we are not only forgiven. We are actually Justified. The word justified means "to be made righteous" . The Bible says in 2Corinthians 5:21 that we are "made the righteousness of God in him(Jesus)". After salvation, we need never again fear any rejection or condemnation from God. We are accepted in the Beloved! Every time God looks at us, He only sees perfection......because He only sees Jesus Christ!
As we go through our day, no matter what gets thrown at us by life, let's try to remember who we are in God's eyes, and always thank Him for His amazing grace.
