Searching for her prize, she eyes a fresh track
and now the archer, the archer, the archer draws back
Just between the moon and Eternity Dam
she takes aim at the heart of the wandering ram
Up ahead in the meadow as the ram begins to graze
he senses he should run, but instead he stays
Nomadic in nature, with erratic behavior
the ram looks to the heavens and he prays to his Savior
The archer prays, too, that her arrow fly true
because the man that is the ram is a love brand new
for the archer has always been what the archer has always been
Where one life ends, so let another begin
Aries arise...won't you play her a tune
Sagittarius carry us to the edge of the moon
Distant lovers cross in the middle of the night
as heart, mind, body and soul unite
The ram begins to write years of wisdom and truth
as the archer counterbalances with exuberant youth
Three-thousand miles could never separate fate
within a rhyme bending time where lovers never have to wait
A mystical mystery where history repeats
and whether sandy island beaches or mile high streets
heartbeats beat but they don't break
He's always dreaming of her, even while awake
Though the ram and the archer find themselves sometimes apart
when I'm not there to hold your hand, understand I always hold your heart
and should the moment ever come when you start to feel alone
know I am guarding your heart...as I would guard my own...
