| When you feel the presence of God in a place
You know that it is by His grace
It’s usually in your heart where He resides
The feeling is better if others feel it besides.
It is not the place itself that is blessed
But the people in it that are at rest.
Sometimes you think it is just you
But other people feel it too.
Imagine you’re in a place and feel God’s love
You know that it was sent from above
You gaze across the crowd
And every head is bowed.
You know you are not the only one
Who feels the light from God’s Son
That light shines from every face
And you know nothing can take its place.
You can feel the presence of God in this place
You can see God in most every face
They love you here no matter what
You can tell they hold God in their heart.
So if you are looking for God to appear
Just try looking at yourself in a mirror
No matter what you think you see
God is where ever your heart will be.
God is not held in a place
He is held in your heart by grace
So don’t look far away
Just kneel down and pray. |
