Inside Out-Less is More Empty
PostSubject: Inside Out-Less is More   Inside Out-Less is More EmptyThu Oct 23, 2014 5:53 am

God takes what is broken and makes us beautiful.
John 3:30 we must become less so he can become more.
We want the formula to do what's right. There is no formula. This walk is a journey and we must go through it. We do not always know what is going to be right.
Paul is an example of how we are changed by God. He became less so god could become more in his life. Rms.,12 Run with perseverance the race god has marked out for us. Everyone's race is different. We can't compare our race to someone else's.
"Never make a principle out of your experience. God is original with other people as he was with you." He wants to work in us.
A journey can be hard for some and not for others. At times in our lives we will all face a harder journey. There are things we can do to help us in the way. Rms. 12:2 do not conform to the patterns of the world. Be transformed.
Look at gods will.
How do renew my mind. 2  Cor. 10:5
How do we get rid of the garbage. Take captive our thoughts. The world influences us daily. It can wear on us. Are you filling your life with things that do not please God. Don't get tempted by stuff.
Watch your thoughts for they become your words, watch your words for they become your actions, watch your actions for they become habits, watch your habits because they become your character, watch your character for it will become your destiny (Martha Thatcher). Thoughts start on the inside, we need to be aware. If we react to sin every time it becomes a pathway to destruction. Renew your mind.
Renewing our mind while spending time with God. Getting into the word is what changes you. Do not do it out of obligation but to help change and renew the mind. The word will change your life.
Praying to god also helps renew the mind. Daily obedience is essential for growth.  Rms 6:16 are you being a slave to your sin. What step do you need to take to help your walk with god be better. Loving god is obeying god. Delayed obedience is a form of disobedience. What is the next step for you to be obedient. Stop fighting. Less of self, more of Christ. Being filled by god makes it less about us and more about him. What needs do you see god wanting you to meet. What do you believe god wants to do in your life. Are you giving glory to god. Look forward to eternity with god. God does the heavy lifting however coming to him allows our burdens to be light.
