Identity Theft: I Am...New

Who do you think you are?
Do you feel like you are having a hard time keeping it together. Do you feel close to god one minute and the next you are wondering what is up.
Our identity is in Christ. We are either children of god or we are not.
What is our identity IQ. What do I really know about my identity with who I am or who I am suppose to be.
We are sometimes unaware of how Powerful we are because of who's we are. We do not have any idea how loaded we are in Jesus. If we are hooked up in Jesus why are we so messed up at times. We have days of victory and then we battle defeat. Because who we are does not determine how we act. Who we think we are determines how we act. We believe what the bible says and yet we struggle with certain sin. Do you ever feel like your life argues with the bible.
We need to begin to think we are in Christ more and more.
Ephes. 4:17-19
The old you is a gentile as they did not walk with god. We no longer walk like this as a Christian. Are you still walking in this path and saying you are a Christian. This path leads to death and separation from Christ. Do not live the fertility of your own mind. We are darkened in our understanding living as a gentile. In this life our hearts are hard. When we sin we need to turn and come back to god. Spirituality is what guilty people do to pretend they are not alienated from god. Living in ignorance. Is your heart hard right now. There are over 900 scriptures on the heart throughout the bible. A hard heart always blames others and comes across as always being right. We need to examine our hearts today. Do not become callus in your heart. God is not ok with our sin. Do not get hard to your sin and excuse it away. If we do we will give up and become as a gentile again. In giving up we are giving in to those sins we have allowed our hearts to become hardened to.
The old you does not need to stay the old you. Ephes. 4:20-24
Do we sometimes view ourselves as the old you. We can change the things we do but only Jesus can change who we are. We have to be taught how to walk with Jesus. In doing this we learn to walk in Christ.
Are you struggling with deceitful desires. These are desires that lie to us. What are you struggling to fight through right now that satan is trying to deceive us in. Is your mind in a dark place far from god. It can be fixed. In christ we are righteous and holy. We need to clothe ourselves with Christ daily. If we put him on daily we will be different daily. He has forgiven us, he is with us, he is not angry, he is with us, he has died for our sin and wants us to put him on daily and walk in Christ.
