It supports me
It keeps my mind strong
It keeps my life steady
It holds my heart together
It sets my soul free
I answer:
"My faith."
"Your faith?!" You ask. "Hmm!
What happened to you, to make it so strong?"
I think:
I'm protected by Him
He keeps me strong
He keeps me steady
He holds me together
He forgives my sin
I answer:
"My God."
"Your god?" You ask. "Heh!
I don't believe your god exists!"
You don't believe me
Because I can't say the words
To make you see
To make Him heard
You believe we're all blind
That we tell nothing but lies
I only pray He opens your eyes
And that you'll read between the lines
