Hello There Everyone

Let me first say that I hope God richly blesses each and every one of you!

I discovered this forum through a search engine, while looking for a writing forum that would be appropriate for a Christian.  I am active on two "worldly" writing forums, namely "Writer's Beat" and "Legend Fire".  Every now and then, I get negative feedback when voicing my beliefs on there.  Some of my posts on those two might offend some on here, but if you ever come across them please do not judge me.

I don't always write "appropriate" stories, but I will not show those on here, unless I can clean them up and make them "purer."  Hopefully I can receive assistance on here (Christian Creative Writers) with doing that.

I mostly write love stories (and they unfortunately bring in suggestive themes at times), but I also write essays and personal reflections.

I look forward to reading and enjoying other peoples' work and maybe I can be inspired by it as well.

I hope that one day, my writing will glorify Jesus Christ my Savior more than ever before!

Welcome, ericjohn! I'm so glad you found us. I've come across a lot of Christian writers who struggle with those same things in their writing, and I appreciate your willingness to respect the forum and its audience. If you're able to connect the reader well with your characters and draw them into your plot line, you do not need all that other stuff anyway. Think of it as a challenge to writing truly quality work. This forum was conceived to create a place where Christians could feel comfortable expressing their views and where they could help build each other's writing skills in order to glorify Jesus. I hope you find that here.
