I hear a whisper on the wind and it's singing my name
A breezy lullaby blows by...soft, calm and tame
I listen for a minute, then in an instant I'm gone
I hear the voices of the world and I must be moving on...

I hear a whisper on the wind and it's calling out my name
Louder than the singing, yet a message just the same
I listen a while longer, but once again become withdrawn
The world shows me a path that I must walk upon...

I hear a whisper on the wind and it's crying my name
Teardrops start to singe as they too fall into the flame
I listen to the cries of Son rise...a new dawn
The world becomes a game in which I used to be a pawn...

I finally hear the Spirit...The Good News I do proclaim
Listen to the whisper as it's screaming your name...
