Down in the shade of the peak
Prospects all fretful and bleak
I see my dilemma enormous
A mountain that mocks.
What is the path to relief
This life so fragile and brief
Am I to be crushed, thrown aside
But then Spirit talks:
“Just who made that mount so tall
And who intervenes lest you fall
And who soars so high o’er its crest.”
The Lord, cry the rocks. |
