Cast Your Love

Love is not a commodity
To be earned or traded
But rather given freely
Without expectation of return
 
Pure love costs everything
Sacrifices all it has
Is willing to die to self
Gives without limitation
 
Love, like a stone
When cast into  a river
Spreads and multiplies
Touching many lives unknown
 
When our time here is done
All that will matter is the
Ripples of love we have cast
And the lives it has touched
