You shouldn’t live in the past

You should forget that at last

Because Jesus died on the cross

So you would not suffer the loss.

Each action that you take

You can have your heart break

It reflects back on God

He can make your heart thawed.

God gave you a job to do

He really depends on you

If you do your job well

He will give many blessings to tell.

If you share with Him your love

You will have things to be proud of

A little pride is not wrong

God can take it and make you strong.

Pride in God is a wonderful thing

It makes you want to sing

Pride can make you glorify Him

And fill your heart to the brim.

How glad are you to be God’s child?

Do people know by the way you smile?

Can they tell by the way you act?

They can’t know if for a fact.

When your heart is filled with God’s love

You can hear the angels singing far above

A song of peace and rest

And you know you are truly blessed.

Live for the future as in NOW

God will show you just how

The past is gone and is dead

You have nothing more to dread.
