The painful log is in your eye As you denounce another soul For being lesser than yourself Not meeting your exacting goal Pharisees were just the same Judging all who failed their test Even Jesus lost their game Crucified at their request.
We must serve the least, the best Befriending all, no matter what God sees us as perfect ones Pure, unblemished, not a spot As we're hardly adverts for The way that Christians ought to be Surely we should focus on More of what is really me.

"What goes along gets along?" Turn a blind eye to those who call themselves Exclusively "The Only True Christians" and yet deny the Deity of Christ? Uh-uh sorry, ain't-a- gonna-happen-no-sirree-Bob.
A sleepy watchman with a rusty sword is of no avail. Nice poem though, aside from the confusing message. I don't know about denouncements but chastening at times is purposeful and necessary guidance/correction in love. "Truth can be outraged by silence quite as cruelly as by speech."-Amelia Barr
Happens to the best of us:) Keep writing 'Pilgrim', the journey's just begun and 'progressing' well! God Bless!
