Please pray for me. I need payer as I might be interviewing for a new job soon. I have joined a new networking group and through it, I have met a lady that might be able to make all this happen. I haven't done this type of work before and therefore need constant prayer about it. I appreciate it. Thank you all!!

Thank you Lora, Thena, and oneagleswings for your prayers!! I forgot to mention that the lady I talked about knows someone who might be able to make it happen. Sorry I didn't make that 100% clear. Anyway, nothing has happened yet but I will keep you all updated as things progress. Looks like the interview will be in February or possibly March 2012. I am already nervous about it, so please pray that I prepare myself enough and can "wow" her. These people like to be wowed a lot, so please pray that I do everything according to their expectations. Also, I have been suffering from a hurt thumb on my right thumb. It just started I think last week, but appears to be going away. The right side of my right thumb sometimes hurts, and hurts more when I touch it a certain way. No pain on the left side of it, or anywhere on my left thumb. Anyway, thank you all for your prayers!! They are ALWAYS appreciated!!

Hello all. The interview might be happening this week as my group will meet this Thursday, 2/16/12. I don't know if I'll be able to make it, but will try my best to. Anyway, please pray that if it happens this week, or that if I meet the lady that might be able to get the interview for me, please pray that everything goes well. I usually get pretty nervous at any job interview, whether I am experienced in the field or not. I have a paralegal certificate, and the interview will be for a paralegal or other legal related position(legal assistant, case assistant,etc.). Anyway, I will keep you all updated. It is very difficult to get a position in that field, especially when you have no experience in it.

I will keep all of the other members prayer requests in my prayers. I don't know when I'll be able to submit any work here but I hope I can still be a part of this online community even if I don't submit any work. I will also keep praying for all the participants in the writing contests here.

I hope to vote in upcoming contests as time permits. I didn't get to this time and I apologize. Anyway, I hope all the participants are successful in their writing endeavors.

Lora, thank you for allowing me to be a part of this community. Please let me know if I am not abiding by the rules by not submitting work while I participate in other ways here. I don't want to be a rule breaker and therefore upset you. This is a great website and community and I don't want to end it but will if it's necessary.

I guess what i am trying to say is that things don't always work out exactly as we hope or plan. But things always workout if we keep our Hope and Faith in Him, according to His plan. Thank you so much oneagleswings!! I really needed to hear, and see, that last sentence you put in. Yes, I know it may not work out the way I want, but I still want it. But, as they say, things work out the way they're supposed to. Anyway, please continue to keep me in your prayers indefinitely, as I don't know what to do if I don't get this chance. I am well educated, well spirited(optimistic), and am as friendly as I can be without overdoing it, but this economy has hurt me very badly. I not only want this chance, but need it. Oh, and I have plenty of work experience, just not the legal type. Anyway, thanks again. I don't know when I'll be able to come back here again, but I hope it'll be sometime in March 2012, if not sooner.

If we cast away those who have questions about our Lord, what would that say about us? I shudder to think of it. My heart hurts for your predicament in this economy, and I will continue to keep you in my prayers. Lean on the Lord's strength as you encounter these people associated with this job, and remember that you have others praying for you. Be emboldened with these thoughts and your anxiety will fall away like a waterfall.

Hello all. I just want to tell you that I had an interview about a month ago(early May) and didn't hear back from them so I didn't get the job. It was for an intellectual property job(IP), and it was going to be very complicated if I got it. Anyway, thank you all for your prayers. I don't know what I will do next, so please keep praying for me indefinitely. I hope to take some computer classes so I can update my computer skills and progress from there. Also, I might be getting back into my writing, so please pray about that too. My male dog, who was 15, died last week from cancer, so please pray about that too. I have another dog, a female, whom I am also crazy about, and she is so lost without him!! Anyway, I hope everyone here is doing OK. I hope to maybe enter some of the contests here soon, so keep that in prayer also. Well, I have to go. Oh, I was wondering if I could copy some of the work here that has been entered in the contests. I just want to read it, not distribute it or use it as my own. I don't have a lot of time to spend on the computer any more, so that's why I ask. Please let me know Lora. Well, I have to get going. As for me, of course you can copy my "stuff" for your own use. I'm glad, and privileged, to have readers such as you! That being said, I protect my "body of work" (the Lord's work through me) with effective copyrights, although I'm conflicted about that.

Hello all. I do not have any exciting news to report but I just wanted to ask you all to continue to pray for me. I got very sick 3 weeks ago but am on the mend, but my mom now has what I had-I believe it was a bad upper respiratory virus. She has had it for about 1-2 weeks, so please pray for her too. I might be getting another male dog within the next few months, to be a playmate for my female dog. Anyway, that's all the news for now. Please continue to pray for me. Oh, before I forget, congratulations Lora for getting into graduate school!!! I will pray for your success, as well as joy, in your program. I read about it in the praise section and wanted to comment here. Anyway, blessings to all!!

Hello everybody. I got a job, but I'm trying to find another one to replace it. It's a commission only job but I don't see anything good happening from it, so I need another one. Anyway, I hope everyone here is doing OK. I hope to enter the contests here sometime in the future, but now isn't a good time. My thumb still hurts some, but not like it did, so I'm hoping it's pretty much gone away. Anyway, thank you all for praying for me. I can't express in words how much I appreciate it!!! Please continue to pray for me because I really need it. Well, that's about all the news I have right now. If anyone wants to email me personally here, feel free to do so. Yes, I hope that I continually do God's will, but I guess that means if everything works out well in the job search, then that is God's will?? I'm asking because I really don't understand what that means, and I'm not trying to start an argument with anybody. Anyway, thanks again!! Many people struggle with that question, Jo. I think that if we are continually praying that the Lord will complete His will through us, He is faithful to do so. Many times it doesn't seem like we are in the right place or doing the right thing, but, in reality, we are. You are probably right where you should be. There may be something the Lord wishes you to learn or a person, or people, He wants you to minister to or be an example to. You can never know what God has up His sleeve, but I assure you, He is using you. He may be putting it onto your heart to look for another job as well. As long as we're not running from something that we know we should be doing, we're doing okay.

Thank you Jo for your prayers! I can always use them! I so agree with Lora on that topic. We all struggle at times with what God's will is for our lives. I know that I have to read the Bible to know what God's word and will is for my life. If we read God's word He will reveal His heart, His thoughts, His will to us. So I check my options in life against His word, because He will never ask us to go against His word. So the more I have hidden God's word in my heart, the more understanding I have in regards to choices in life. We are not cookie cutter believers, and God has made us each uniquely us, so each life will look different, and your choices may look different than mine, but they will all agree with scripture. So circumstances may not happen the way I thought they would but I can rest in knowing that God loves me and holds my future in His hands.
When I am faced with a tough choice, I try to remember when Jesus had the choice of fulfilling His Fathers will or not (facing the cross) He chose to die on the cross because HE loves me. So I remind myself in those tough moments....nevertheless, Thy will be done, not mine.

Thanks so much Moni and Lora!! I appreciate the dedication you and all the others have shown me in praying for me!!! Please keep it up, as I still need it. I'm trying to get another paralegal position now, and I sent an email today to try to get that going. I met this person (woman) last week, so hopefully she won't turn me away. It's very difficult to get a paralegal position with no expereience, per myself. So, that's what's happening now. I hope everyone here is doing ok. Lora, I have prayed and will continue to pray for your graduate studies to get good grades, and enjoy yourself!!! I hope your program and teachers aren't too tough on you, and that you are successful with it. My puppy is 8 months old now, a handful, but I love him!!! Hello all.  This is Jo, ChildofGod8.  There's no news right now, but I will continue to update you all as time goes on.  Lora, I want to let you know that I got an email message in my inbox here from who I think might be a scammer.  It was from a female member and she was asking me to be in charge, I believe, of some money she was left by her husband, who has already passed.  I remember her username here, but I'll have to go back to the message to recall the other names.  I can PM you Lora, I suppose, to give you the username as I do not want to get myself into trouble here.  I searched her username and it looks like she joined the website today, 3/21/16.  Anyway, please let me know how to proceed.  Thank you.  Oh, I will be praying for everyone at this website, every member, and please continue to pray for me as I really, really need it.  God bless you all!!!

There is no news right now so I ask you to continue to pray for me. I will try to work more steadily on my book ideas this year, rather than just say it.
