There's a voice

There's a voice inside your head that says
You're not worth it anymore
Its telling you to give up trying
Cause there's only trouble in store.
You're feeling so lost in confusion and pain
Crippled under the weight of your shame
And you don't know how you're gonna make it

Well, I'm the voice inside your heart saying
How much you're loved and wanted
And that the shame and the pain you feel
Don't have to stick around
It may sound unbelievable but you'll see
Just put your trust and faith in me

That voice in your head keeps saying
That you're not nearly good enough
That you're nothing and nobody
And you haven't got the stuff
You're feeling alone and scared and so
You keep to yourself; no where to go
And you don't know how much more you can take

Well my voice in your heart is saying
That you're precious and I love you
The guilt, the blame and shame you feel
Don't need to hang around
It may sound unbelievable but you'll see
Just put your trust and faith in me.
