Watched a video that was all too true
The first words spoken broke the heart in two
When did it become wrong, to pray or say God or Jesus in public space
The world has turned from love to distaste,
As my tears poured out , my anger so strong
Rage so intense over some nonsense
Wanted to fight, wanted to scream,
Yet, this is reality not just a dream
Why can't we live in unity
Like love forgiveness the heavenly trinity
Feeling guilty for my strife
Knew it was wrong and having Jesus in my life
Please take away my anger, Father
Fighting is just as wrong with a brother
Then, as faithfully as You always do
Your voice still said,"Pray for My light to shine through"
My anger taken, instantly gone
You took it from me, letting only love show
Instead, forgive those who do not know
Always let Gods glory light glow
Pray that they change, their souls get saved
Unleash the Holy Spirit in their hearts
Let them stop the sins that keep them enslaved
Stand strong before our Lord with a contrite heart
We need to stop His Children from being torn apart
