Revealed

Concealed and not disclosed
nor in any way exposed
But mysteriously hidden
However, not at all unseen
Eventually all shall be revealed!

No secret skeleton under stairwell
It might seem hidden very well
It shall be in plain sight
All things hidden shall come to light
This may cause someone a fright!

Like a kid, hiding a chicken bone
Under the bed, yet it was not alone
The broom brought it to light
Mom thought, this isn't right!
This she knew not, before you're born

You thought and then you removed
Some paper, including clips of paper
Didn't know it be in the newspaper!
Thinking no one be accused
Surely somehow it be approved
But the boss was not at all amused!

When you called in sick
Did you just want to be slick?
You thought the boss would buy
But, he knew it was a lie
Your mother taught you not to lie
She did wave a correction stick!

So, no matter what we try to hide
Our lives are a book open wide
You may believe it or not
You will be put on the spot
There is One who will abide!

Nothing is hidden
Best to refrain from forbidden
All shall be revealed
Only for a while it be concealed
It is, as it is written!
