ADVENTURE ON THE PATH

I never choose the paths in life I follow

I let God do that for me

He is so much better than I

Because sometimes I’m blind and cannot see.

If I come to a fork in the road,

I don’t worry about which one to take.

I know God will steer me right

He never makes a mistake.

As I travel each and every path

God walks beside me and holds my hand

Each time He changes my direction

He always sends along a blessing.

Sometimes my emotions get in my way

And they just stand there waiting until me they sway

So I just ask Jesus to make them go away

And He changes my direction to go His way.

I know when God releases me

To go another way

It will be a joy to follow

And Jesus will help me on my way.

When the path I choose is wrong

Then the Holy Spirit comes along

He puts me on the path I should take

He helps keep me straight.

If you put your entire life in God’s hands

The adventures you encounter are so grand.

He doesn’t do things halfway

So be prepared to give Him your all.
