The World

When the sun falls beneath the horizon

The stars start to twinkle and the night begins

There are creatures of the night that are scary

And makes you want to go inside and hide

But it’s the beauty of the sky when you look to God

That makes the night worthwhile.

The moon fights to make itself known

And when it all comes together it is beauty

For God gave us all those things not just for our pleasure

But so they might be used to guide us through life.

Aw God, what a beautiful name and world you have made

We can only appreciate what we see most

But if you look around there are things you have never noticed

Then the sun peeps over the horizon and gives us another glorious

Day to do God’s work and be thankful for His son.

How can we not appreciate the day and night together

For both have a beauty and are special each one

So are we that are God’s humble servants

Both beautiful and special in each our own way

That we may walk together as one is the hope of the world.
