Oh the misery of this flesh
In search of the Truth, this body I thresh
From my soul to my spirit I say
Will the Law of Yahweh overcome this day
Not a battle, but a war for eternity
Sanctification, my only peace and serenity
I kneel and bow my soul and members
In this day, will I surrender
A command, the flesh must die
I thresh and thresh for the LAW to come alive
I place my blood on the scale
Will I be weighed, will I prevail
My spirit says to my soul, you have His Blood
Soon the scale is moved by the Water like a flood
Just give up, put your body on the cross
Nailing the truth, and the earth as loss
Pour the Water of Life into you
The water turns to blood, cleansing through
I detest the venom coming into my mind
Renewed with Water, Spirit, and Blood, power I find
Killing the flesh makes the Spirit strong
Poured out His blood, to Him I belong
Purchased by the Blood, God's Word
Only by His Spirit can this be heard
From flesh to His Spirit
The power of the Blood is the Life within it
