Why the Law Written On Our Hearts is the Torah! Empty
PostSubject: Why the Law Written On Our Hearts is the Torah!   Why the Law Written On Our Hearts is the Torah! EmptyFri May 25, 2018 1:58 am

(Jesus (Yeshua) taught and obeyed perfectly the Torah.)

The TORAH has existed from the beginning of time. Also when the Old Testament is referring to the New Covenant Law it translates “TORAH”! Same as in the New Testament!

Examples of the Torah before it was written.
1) Cain and Abel knew to make offerings and when…
2) Noah knew what foods were clean and unclean…
3) The Sabbath in Ex. 31:16, Regarding the Torah (God’s Law) it’s a covenant forever.
4) Abraham kept the Torah before written! Gen 26:5  Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
5) Yahweh shows His Law in Genesis by resting on the 7th day.
6) Ex. 19:8 The people with Moses said that they would keep the Torah before it was written.

Jer. 31:31-33 Details the New Covenant.

Re: “The Promises”
·        Israel broke the Covenant (Proving men can break covenant with God)
·        Yahweh was their husband, but is no more.
·        Yahweh renews the Covenant with Israel & Judah by putting His Torah in them again.
·        We will know Yahweh.

Ezekiel establishes there is no new “Law” in the New Covenant.
Eze 11:19  And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: (II Cor. 3:3-5, Jesus is the Heart/Word of God who became flesh! Jesus is the "Heart of Flesh" that may be in those who abide in His Word, He will Abide in us!)
Eze 11:20  That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

(No new law was given)

Ezekiel teaches obedience to the Torah.
Eze 36:26  A new heart also will I give you (Jesus), and a new spirit (Jesus, the Law and Word) will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.                                                          Eze 36:27  And I will put my spirit (Torah) within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. (IF you abide in Him, He will abide in you!)

I John 5:1-3 Confirmation of Ezekiel.
1Jn 5:1  Whosoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loves him that begat loves him also that is begotten of him.
1Jn 5:2  By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
1Jn 5:3  For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Heb. 8:1-2 Shows no more earthly priests, …We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;

A High Priest in Heaven, and not on earth! Why?
Heb 7:12  For the priesthood being changed (TRANSFERRED), there is made of necessity a change (TRANSFER) also of the law (Translates "Torah").

Did the Law change? NO! We already established His Law is forever!

(Re: Heb. 7:12) So what changed?

The word “changed” in the English is a wrong translation.
G3346    “CHANGED”
From G3326 and G5087; to transfer, that is, (literally) transport, (by implication) exchange, (reflexively) change sides, or (figuratively) pervert: - carry over, change, remove, translate, turn.

Now with the proper understanding we see that the Law was transferred from man (Earthly priests) to Yeshua (Jesus) our High Priest (The Heart of Flesh), but Yeshua is in Heaven so He might put HIS SPIRIT (Heart of Flesh) within us, because He is now the High Priest, but from Heaven.

Jas 1:21  Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls

Jas 1:22  But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Heb. 8:3-4 (Also no longer dwelling in Tabernacles built by man)
There were priests who offered gifts “according to the Law (Torah)”. Yeshua is not a Priest on earth, but in Heaven on the right hand of Yahweh (God)! Verse 5 explains that Yeshua (Jesus) is now our “Mediator” of the Covenant (Torah). A Covenant built on better promises, not new Laws.

Old Covenant vs. New Covenant = Better Promises (Jesus, our Heart of Flesh), not a Better Law!

Remember: The Spirit/Law (Torah) is already Perfect (Ps. 19:7)! Why? It’s God’s Word, which is God!

RE: "Fault"
Heb 8:7  For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
Heb 8:8  For finding fault with them, he says, Behold, the days come, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
The “Fault” was the people, not the Law!

Heb. 8:8-12 repeats the promises of the New Covenant that establishes the Torah in our hearts.
(Heb. 8:10)Yahweh’s True Believers will want to keep the Torah, because if you
Walk daily in the Spirit (Torah) you won’t want to break covenant with the Living
God. He will, …”I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:”

Re: The “New Covenant” Ezekiel says, ..."and cause you to walk in my statutes,
and you shall keep my judgments, and do them"... (For those who "Receive the "Implanted Word"!)

Yahweh will restore all of His people back to Him. Judah who Yahweh didn’t divorce committed spiritual adultery (Stony heart), but can now be renewed, and Israel (Gentiles) He will give a new heart to of flesh which is the New Covenant with them. You see Israel was scattered throughout the world and lost their Identity, thus becoming Gentiles. Only a New Covenant could resolve this. When by the "Law" a marriage ended in divorce the woman (Israel) couldn’t remarry, unless the 1st husband (Jesus) died. Now because of His death and resurrection  Israel can now be rejoined to their Groom Jesus.
Mat 15:24  But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the
house of Israel. (Also meaning Gentiles) (Jews/Judah to be renewed)

Jer. 3:6-11
Israel divorced, Judah a harlot didn’t return with their whole heart, but needs
to be restored!

Jer. 31:33 Yahweh will put the Torah within in them, His Spirit!

The “PROMISE” is we get a new heart (Jesus), His Spirit (Torah) if we implant the Word into our hearts!
(Jer. 31:33, Ez. 36:26-27) For those who "Receive and Believe (Obey)"!

Heb. 8:13 The Covenant was written on stony hearts before (Actual translation is: "was written on stone", they received the Law on stone/ink), but Yahweh might be our heart of flesh. (H4480 "Flesh"= a part of).

What is the New Covenant for?

  • ·        For Israel/Gentiles to be grafted in.
  • ·        Renew a covenant with The Jews (Judah)
  • ·        The Law written on Jesus heart, and in us if we implant the Word and obey).

The Spirit of God was given to all men from the beginning (The Spirit draws all). The word spirit translates wind, breeze, breath. When God breathed life into man (Adam) at the beginning, is when He made us in His image (His Spirit in us). The "Better Promise" was we received the Word, Jesus, who became flesh (Heart of Flesh), and the perfect sacrifice, the Living Law, our example to live by (the Word of God through Jesus is the fulfillment of many prophecies/promises). Does anyone see a difference in men today than those of old? NO! So if we have something different than those of old then God is unjust by not requiring the same from all men! God, His Word, and His Spirit have never changed! His Word and Spirit are eternal! Check your doctrines! If your doctrines show a different God of today than in the old days, it's definitely a false doctrine. Only difference today is God fulfilling His promise of His Son, who gave us a life example of how to live.
