Who was there when I needed a hug? Who was there to wipe the tears from my eyes.
Who was there to comfort my cries?

When no one is around He accompanies me as a friend would do,
When I needed someone to talk to.

Who was there to help me off?

When the devil came against me, and tried to steal my joy away,
It was Jesus who came and wiped him away. It was Jesus with whom I stay.
When the waters came crashing down, the clouds got dark
Who was there to leave His mark?
Jesus!
When I needed guidance and I wouldn't be still,
You put people in my path who did Your will.
