| Today as I knelt to pray
I did not know your name to say
But when I asked the Father up above
To touch you and to show His love...
I'm sure He didn't hesitate a minute
For He has a big book
And you are in it.
And even though I did not mention you by name
Our Father knew it just the same
And as I ended my earnest prayer
I felt that my request was answered there
For I felt His presence and peace within
Ere I even said
Amen.
