Today is Workout Day

Today is workout day
And I really have to go
For when I stay at home
My body seems to know.

I see other folks at the machines
Who are much older than I
The 86 year old who does so well
My wimpyness could make me cry.

But I felt much better when
After I confessed to my family my ills
They said not to worry
She has had 20 more years to practice her skills!

Praise God. I'm afraid of those machines too, but my mother keeps dragging me to them any way. No matter how old you are, I've learned that mothers will always know best.
