I Have a Reason to Sing Empty

Why am I so happy?
My Father is a King
He shows me that He loves me
And gives me a reason to sing.
He owns the cattle on a thousand hills-
He created everything-
He is the Lord of all-
And I have a reason to sing!
I will sing to praise Him
I will sing to share my story
I will sing to the King of Kings
Who will take me home to Glory!
My Father loves me
My Father is a King
My Father will someday call me home
He is my reason to sing!

My Father is rich in houses and land
And I am a child of the King.

He owns the cattle on every hill
The winds and waves obey His will
When I falter He loves me still
I am a child of the King
And I have a reason to sing!
